SuRE intends to accelerate the acceptance of FPV as a mainstream, cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for the production of renewable energy.

The main objective of SuRE is to increase the competitiveness of FPV power plants compared to fossil fuels and renewable technologies requiring large land areas by promoting sustainable design, reducing the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), and expanding the application potential for three leading European FPV technologies.

Together the SuRE consortium is exceptionally well positioned to impact the future of FPV technology and enable a more rapid deployment. SuRE will expand the application areas, minimize environmental impact, and decrease LCOE to make FPV a robust source of renewable energy,
